Journal Article Review
Journal Article ReviewThe journal article review is a means to writing a new manuscript for publication in the Journal of Current Research in Psychology. An author of a journal article review paper presents the paper and assigns a number to it and names his or her referees, called co-authors. It is up to the author of the article to determine who will be the co-author of a journal article review. This process takes place through the normal journal submission process.Once the author submits the article to the journal and the author is assigned an article reviewer, the author then submits a number of articles to the author's co-authors. If the final submission meets with approval from all the members of the journal, then the author can submit the article for publication in the journal. All accepted article is then reviewed by the editor or reviewer. The editors may not edit the manuscript for grammatical or stylistic errors but rather will review the manuscript on content. The editor o r reviewer is looking for basic formatting and style but will not be concerned with the length of the article.Once the editor or reviewer receives the author's paper and all corrections are received, they will either accept or reject the article. Acceptance and rejection rates are determined based on the number of authors, subject matter and paper length.Factors which affect the acceptance rate include paper topic, paper title, reviewers, paper length, journal, editor and writer. For every submitted article, the author can choose the reviewer that will review his or her paper. Typically, the writer may only choose one reviewer. When one reviewer accepts the article, it is sent to all the other reviewers.Another factor in the submission process is the journal's Editor. The Editor makes all the decisions about what to publish and can change the style of the manuscript based on the writer's preferences. When the editor deems the manuscript acceptable, it is submitted to the author for approval.Upon approval of the article by the author, it is submitted to the journal for publication. In this case, the author is the first author and is also the editor of the manuscript. The process is similar for co-authors. The author of the article reviews the manuscript to make sure it contains no typos or grammar mistakes. The co-author reviews and edits the manuscript based on the paper content and how it relates to the editor's guidelines. Many journals require a signature on the author agreement in order to publish the article. The signature must be on the top of the manuscript and the copyright page or end of the paper. The signature must include the initials of the author and the date of the acceptance of the article.
